Costa says that Novo Banco episode undermined PSD credibility

Prime Minister António Costa considered, during an interview with the Observer, that the PSD's position, which helped to make BE's proposal viable, which prevents the transfer of more capital to Novo Banco, undermines the credibility of social democrats, and it will be a political bravado that will have no legal and political consequences.

The government official also discussed in the interview with the Observer the position of the lead BE in the State Budget. Costa says this lead was opportunistic and accused BE of defecting.
