The application developed by Portuguese is free, and is intended to facilitate the planning of a 'Surf Trip' anywhere in the world. It not only compiles the best beaches for the practice of this sport, but also combines that information with hotels and inns close to their respective locations, facilitating the entire scheduling process.

The operation of the application essentially consists of a world map, where the 'surf spots' and the various services related to this market (hotels, restaurants, etc.) are identified. The user can explore any country in the world and, through filters / buttons, choose the types of services he wants to view and consult. Clicking on a surf school, for example, quickly accesses information about that business, evaluations of other surfers, possibilities for booking classes, among others.

By clicking on a 'surf spot', you get information about the characteristics of the place (dominant wind, direction of the wave, type of bottom, etc.) and evaluations of other surfers who have been there. It is a Progressive Web App, that is, it allows it to be executed in the internet browser, in any operating system.

Bruno Morouço, executive president of SurfingRoute, reveals his ambition to become the “main platform for consulting information and planning trips related to surfing around the world”. He adds that “the application will be launched with complete information about our country and already includes world information, more specifically the location of surf spots. We are working to ensure that in the next two years we will be able to have detailed information from around the world ”.

The application will be available from July XNUMXst, and promises to encourage surfing in Portugal and the rest of the world.
