Applications for 'Porta 65' ended this Monday at 17:00. All interested parties can apply through the Housing Portal. The financial support program for youth leasing supports citizens between 18 and 35 years old, who rent a house for permanent housing.
For the application process, you need the tax number of the young people who share your home and the password to access the Finance portal. All candidates must authenticate themselves at the same time with the respective taxpayer and password, in addition to filling in their personal details.
The application must also reflect the real household that will live in the housing permanently. The results come out 45 days after the closing of the candidacies, which happens on October 4th.
The Housing Portal reveals that priority is given to candidates or households with lower incomes, with the young person's or household's monthly income not exceeding four times the maximum allowed income for each zone.
For Greater Lisbon, only a maximum rent of 860 euros is allowed, in the case of a T4 or T5 housing, such as Oeiras, Vila Franca de Xira, Sintra and Amadora. For example, the maximum price for T0 and T1 apartments is 578 euros.
In the greater Porto region, the maximum amount is 466 euros and rentals are only allowed in the amount of 748 euros, in a T4 and T5 housing, as seen in Gondomar, Maia, Matosinhos, Póvoa de Varzim, Vila do Conde, Valongo , Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto.
