The auditor selected to audit the debt restructuring of Luís Filipe Vieira, requested by the Resolution Fund (FdR), will be replaced. At stake are potential reputational conflicts of interest of PwC, which had already started work to assess the viability of the fund that was left with the debt of Promovalor, the economic group of the president of Benfica. This is because PwC is already the auditor of Benfica SAD, which now leads Novo Banco to choose one of three other auditors that had not been chosen: Baker Tilly, BDO or Mazars, a source close to the process told Jornal Económico .
