After in March, the Sonae group launched an e-commerce platform for tenants present in its shopping centers to maintain their businesses, the group now announces the 'Drive-in' service, which consists of collecting purchases without leaving the car. , maintaining the necessary social distance in times of pandemic.

We are, from the first hour, responding to the pandemic situation we are experiencing, developing new concepts to meet the new needs of visitors and tenants.

“Confinement changed behaviors, but omnichannel was already a trend that, within the new normality, came to assume greater importance, because today the link between physical stores and their digital version is essential.” Cristina Santos added.

The new Sonae service allows customers the possibility to collect their purchases in a convenient way, without leaving the car, after placing their order online or by phone.

So far, there are 82 participating brands, present in 143 stores. The collection points are located in the car park of each Center. According to the statement from Sonae Sierra, a service will also be made available that allows to perceive, through the shopping center website or the application, the level of influx of people and cars to the space, allowing the customer to better manage their visit.
