Covid-19: Pfizer / BioNTech asks European regulators for vaccine authorization

Pfizer / BioNTech had already placed an order for use of the coronavirus vaccine with US and British regulators.

Pfizer / BioNTech has asked European regulators for authorization for its coronavirus vaccine, as it had already done in the United States (20 November) and Britain, as reported by Reuters.

The vaccine from Pfizer / BioNTech, according to the final results of the tests, showed an efficiency of 95%. Reuters underlines that these results could lead to the vaccine from both companies being available, after authorization from US and European regulators, already in December.

Moderna was another company that had also announced the request, to the European Medicines Agency (EMA), European regulator, for an authorization to use the vaccine against covid-19.
