Mota-Engil e BCP deixam PSI 20 no ‘vermelho’ no fim da sessão

Praça Lisboa ended the session down 0,53%, to 4.099,97 points this Wednesday, contrary to the trends of its European counterparts.

The main Portuguese stock index, PSI 20, closed the session this Wednesday to devalue 0,47%, to 4.429,37 points, contrary to the trend of its European counterparts.

Downing the PSI 20 are among the main Portuguese quoted companies Mota-Engil which falls 3,48%, to 1,11 euros, BCP which falls 1,52%, to 0,08 euros and oil company Galp Energia which devalues 2,83%, to 8,31 euros.

On negative ground are also Corticeira Amorim which falls 3,31%, to 10,52 euros, Altri which loses 1,51%, to 3,91 euros to Navigator which depreciates 2,09%, to 2,15 euros and Semapa, which decreased 1,83%, to 7,51 euros.

A negociar com sinal ‘verde’ no fecho da sessão estiveram a EDP que sobe 1,77%, para 4,18 euros, os CTT que crescem 0,63%, para 2,41 euros e a Jerónimo Martins que valoriza 0,73%, para 13,85 euros.

“As bolsas europeias encerraram em alta, em contraciclo com o sentimento que se vive em Nova Iorque. Isto apesar da revelação preliminar de que a atividade terciária na Zona Euro contraiu inesperadamente em setembro, ofuscando o bom desempenho industrial” afirma Ramiro Loureiro, analista de mercados do Millenium investment banking.

In Germany, DAX grows 0,33%, in the United Kingdom, FTSE 100 rises 1,21%, French CAC 40 increases 0,62%, Dutch AEX grows 0,91%. In Spain, the IBEX35 increased 0,16% and the Italian FTSE MIB rose 0,04%.

The Brent barrel price depreciates 0,14%, to $ 41,66, while the WTI crude price falls 0,08%, to $ 39,77 per barrel.

In the foreign exchange market, the euro depreciated 0,26%, to 1,16 dollars.
