The Directorate-General for Health (DGS) confirmed this Saturday another 186 confirmed cases and four deaths from Covid-19 recorded in the last 24 hours. Thus, the total number of infected people rises to 52.537 while the number of deaths is based on 1.750.

The region of Lisbon and the Tagus Valley continues to accumulate the largest number of cases, with 113 more confirmed in the last 24 hours. Two deaths were recorded in the capital region, one in the Algarve and another in the center of the country.

As for the number of recovered, DGS reports an additional 277 in relation to the previous day. The number of Covid-19 free patients rises to 38.364. There are currently 357 hospitalized (one more compared to the previous day), of which 33 are in Intensive Care Units (ICU) (three less compared to yesterday).

The epidemiological bulletin released this afternoon indicates that, to date, 456.256 suspected cases have been recorded and 1.475 people are still awaiting the results of Covid-19's laboratory analysis. There are currently 400.604 unconfirmed cases after the analyzes, and 37.579 are under surveillance by health authorities.

In relation to symptoms, the most reported are cough (34%), fever (27%), muscle pain (21%), headache (20%), generalized weakness (14%) and breathing difficulties (9%).
