Fingeste, a company specializing in advising on mergers and acquisitions, advised Grupo Electofer in the process of going public with the entry of Core Capital, the management company of the CoRe Restart venture capital fund.
The Electrofer Group, present in the metal construction, engineering and automotive sectors, with a turnover of more than 15 million euros, 300 employees and works on four continents, “will thus continue its strategy of national and international growth supported now in investment of the Core Restart fund, which now holds a majority stake in the company ”.
CoRe Capital is a Venture Capital Management Company that recently bought SousaCamp, known as the “King of Mushrooms”, from Novo Banco and Crédito Agrícola.
“The Core Restart Fund's mission is to Regenerate the Portuguese Economy, investing and supporting the growth of competitive companies that face growth and capital structure challenges,” reads the statement.
Core Capital is owned in equal parts by Nuno Fernandes Thomaz, Pedro Araújo and Sá, Martim Avillez Figueiredo and by the tomato producer Sugal.
