S&P 'reiterates' Galp Gás rating and maintains stable outlook

The reduced impact of the pandemic on Galp Gás Natural Distribuição's activity led the rating agency to maintain its rating.

S&P Global Ratings reiterated this Friday the rating long-term investment by Galp Gás Natural Distribuição in 'BBB-' with a “stable” outlook, announces the Portuguese company in a statement sent to the market.

O rating e outlook were reiterated considering the expectation of the limited impact on Galp Gás Natural Distribuição's performance due to the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The maintenance of the rating and from the perspective it also reflects the continued support of the stable regulatory environment, with a flexible dividend and capex (investment expense) policy, says the statement published this afternoon by the Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
