Casino Espinho paid more than 33 million euros to visitors to the space, throughout the month of July. Hotel Casino Chaves, on the other hand, presented prizes worth 9 million euros in the same period, says the statement from the entities of the Solverde Group.
"The big prizes returned to Casino Espinho and Hotel Casino Chaves, with a total of 42 million euros in prizes paid in both casinos in July," says the note.
“With dozens of gaming tables, hundreds of slot machines and a large Bingo Hall, Casino Espinho, opened in 1974, is a reference in the area of entertainment in the north of the country. The games room at the Hotel Casino Chaves has a diverse range of games - arranged over two floors connected by escalators - equipped with hundreds of slot machines and several table games ”, the company said in a statement.
With the “Clean & Safe” seal of Turismo de Portugal, all Solverde Group casinos and hotels comply with all legislation in force, requiring the use of a mask, hand hygiene, social distance, temperature measurement at the entrance and smoking ban .
"Complying with all the indications of the Directorate-General for Health, a series of measures and procedures of a sanitary nature were adopted, such as the placement of acrylics that separate all games, ensuring the safety of players in all spaces", adds the statement.
Solverde - Sociedade de Investimentos Turisticos da Costa Verde was founded in 1972 by Manuel de Oliveira Violas and holds the Casino Espinho game concession, opened in 1974, of the three casinos in the Algarve - Vilamoura, Monte Gordo and Praia da Rocha, in operation since 1996, and the Casino de Chaves, which opened its doors in 2008.
In the hotel industry, the group led by brothers Manuel and Celeste Violas, has owned the Hotel Apartamento Solverde in Espinho since 1984, the Hotel Solverde Spa & Wellness Center in Gaia since 1989, the Hotel Algarve Casino in Praia da Rocha since 1997 and the Hotel Casino Chaves in Chaves, since 2008.
