The presidential candidate for the Liberal Initiative, Tiago Mayan, criticized this Tuesday the Prime Minister and the President of the Republic for not listening to the hunger strike of the members of the “A Pão e Agua” movement, formed by businessmen of the restoration.
"The prime minister arrogantly ignores a hunger strike ahead of Parliament," said the presidential candidate, in a statement released Tuesday.
The President of the Republic was also the target of criticism. "The President of affections, cowardly, despises an atrocity to happen".
"Be ashamed and listen to us," said Tiago Mayan. “Shame on everyone who ignores hunger from the high steps of Belém. Shame on everyone who uses the hunger of some for their own benefit ”.
“Recognize the destruction they have caused and for the sake of the thousands of families dependent on restoration, listen to us. Recognize the sacrifice of those who have not even been led by Parliament since Friday. And have the minimum decency to receive them, ”said the presidential candidate for the Liberal Initiative.
