The order book of the Portuguese construction company Mota-Engil has accelerated in recent months. At the end of the first half of last year, it had overcome the historic barrier of five billion euros and the same happened already at the end of 2020, when it reached the level of six million euros. However, this figure is expected to have been largely exceeded in this first month of 2021, with two contracts in Africa, in Ghana and in Nigeria, in the amount of 1.957,5 million euros, which should have catapulted the order book from Mota-Engil to more than seven billion euros, perhaps even in the eight billion There are no updated public values because there are still doubts about the method of consolidating these contracts in the accounts of the Portuguese construction company, according to Jornal Económico.
In the last twelve months, Mota-Engil has won large contracts, with a value of more than 100 million euros each, in the global amount of almost 3,9 billion euros.
