Presidential: More than 80% of those registered for early voting voted on Sunday

In total, 246.880 voters were registered for the early vote that took place on Sunday, a week before the elections for the President of the Republic.

More than 80% of voters registered for early voting in the presidential vote voted on Sunday, according to provisional data from 231 of the 308 municipalities released this Monday by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI).

According to information sent to Lusa, of a total of 133.399 registered in these 231 municipalities, 110.563 voters voted, which corresponds to around 83%.

In total, 246.880 voters were registered for the early vote that took place on Sunday, a week before the elections for the President of the Republic, scheduled for next Sunday.
